Plan for delays this weekend on Interstate 5 by means of Bellingham as Washington State Department of Transportation crews shut the northbound left lane near Sundown Drive to restore damaged concrete.

A closure set for four:30 p.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday coincides with Saturday’s Dying Cab for Cutie and Odesza live performance at Civic Stadium, WSDOT tweeted Wednesday.

Backups from the lane closure might add to visitors woes from the 5 p.m. Saturday concert approximately 2 miles south, which is predicted to attract thirteen,000 individuals. The live performance is scheduled to let by eleven p.m., in response to a city of Bellingham launch.
